It is great honor for me to introduce to you a design institute “Uzogirsanoatloyikha” (Uztyazhpromproekt).

During the 70-year history of its existence, the Institute has contributed significantly to the development of industrial capacity of cities of Uzbekistan, such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Chirchik, Bukhara, Fergana, Jizzakh, and many others.

As per design of the Institute followings have been constructed and reconstructed: Uzbek Plant of refractory and heat-resistant metal, the Uzbek Metallurgical Plant, Tashkent tractor and engine plants, porcelain factory in Tashkent, battery and electrotechnical plant in Jizzakh and many others.

The assets of the Institute include textile and spinning factories, facilities of Tashmetropoliten, Sovplastital, house-building factories, production facilities of various departments.

During the years of independence, a number of important facilities were built and are being built under the design of Institute , including cooperation with world renowned companies such as: “ABB” and “MAN” (Germany); “MINO Spa” (Italy); “TECHNIP” and “SNPE” (France); “JGC Corporation” and “TEN”(Japan); “DAEWOO” (South Korea), “General Motors Powertrain – Uzbekistan”; “MEKHANOBR” and “RIV-proekt” (St. - Petersburg) and others:

• Automobile plant UzDAEWOOauto in Asaka;
• Bukhara and Fergana oil refinery plants;
• Shurtan gas chemical complex;
• Scientific development and production center “VOSTOK”;
• Factory of valuable securities in Tashkent;
• Concentrating plant “KHANDIZA”;
•  Technical upgrading of Almalyk mining-and-metallurgical plant;
• Shop for coiled strip production “Uzmetkombinat”;
• Enterprise for producing power plants of General Motors Powertrain - Uzbekistan
• Reconstruction of Bekabad cement factory;
• Assembly factory of heavy vehicles;
• Football and field-and-track sports center for 10 000 spectators with a universal gym in the town of Termez;
• Educational building with 360 educational places of branch of TUIT in Samarkand
• and many, many others.

The Institute has qualified professionals using modern computer hardware and software, advanced technology of design in their work, which allow to obtain an effective design solutions taking into account the peculiarities and features of the Central Asian region (high seismicity, subsiding soils, warm climate), national traditions and flavor to provide a high architectural level of industrial complexes, buildings and structures, their ecological safety.

The staff of the Institute composed of 39 persons of young professionals.

The Institute has its own recreational area in “Charvak”.

The Institute operates a branch of Department “Building structures” of Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute and the University of Turin, where the classes of students of these universities take place.

Today we can offer our customers services for designing facilities of any complexity and any purpose: from factory to service centers, from the warehouse to a residential complex, from major sports facilities to educational institutions. We are ready to take charge of technical survey and instrumental studies of residential and industrial buildings of any purpose. Despite the regional specialization in activities in recent years, we have successfully completed a number of projects not only in Uzbekistan but also in Kazakhstan and Russia.
